Welcome to the world.

Henry is the son on Susan’s god daughter. (Does that make him a great god son?) He was born a couple of months ago. All new children, relatives or friends receive a framed name gift. Even Chris’s dog, Babe, has her name plate.

A good day was rounded off by a trip to Canterbury to see one of our favourite groups Show of Hands with Track Dogs in the Dog Show Sessions. Best night out for a very long time. We travelled there in the new vehicle - which we enjoyed very much. So much to learn about all the functions. We did find the headlights for the journey home.

The morning had been filled with music too for me. A second rehearsal of the Marmite Ukulele band in preparation for our debut performance on 26th June. It was great fun and the audience (of one) thought we sounded good.

All of which didn’t leave any time for visiting journals today. Thank you for all your comments on yesterday’s blip.
