Barrisdale Bay

The original forecast we had seen suggested Sunday would be windy and with thickening cloud and late rain. We had decided just to walk back to car in a leisurely manner and not go up any other hills. However, the rain came in later than forecast and it was sunny and really very warm as we walked back. The blip is the view of Ladhar Beinn over Barrisdale Bay and the first extra is a view looking back down Loch Hourn to Ladhar Bheinn; the second is looking up Loch Hourn. A successful weekend and now we just need a weather window for Ben Alder to compleat all the Munros and tops that have ever been in a copy of Munro’s Tables. I have seen the view from them all and certainly don’t want to go up Ben Alder in the cloud.

Best on black.
