A Bit of Dry Weather

At least until 4 pm when it started to rain. But I got out to the garden this afternoon and puttered around to my heart's content. I've been moving plants from various garden beds into the new "climate appropriate" garden in front. I'm so curious how it will all work out. Of course we may not know until July 5th when it stops raining. Really, that's what happens here. Then no rain until sometime in the fall. Sopping wet winters and dry as bone summers.

The glorious Clematis 'Pink Champagne' continues to astound me. It did bloom last year (its 2nd year) but this year it's incredible. The blossoms are huge, easily 7" across. Perfect for Flower Friday!
