Open Before Christmas

Is it too soon??  Look at all the things you can do with this glue gun! The perfect pre-Christmas gift!

We were going through a bin of old tools. I threw away the cracked glue sticks, but kept the ancient glue gun with its black fabric cord. The box was too damaged even for me, but I couldn't resist a few shots. Im not the person you want helping you if you're trying to clean out anything. How old do you think this box is? Clue: it was before they put dates on everything; the packaging is no help. It's probably from my father's basement workshop, which was in western Massachusetts. So it's had a long journey to get here. I'm guessing mid 1950s.
