The Wild Life

Took a walk around the bay to see where those Canada Geese are nesting this year. Found them on a different rock from last year. Papa Goose guards the nest either on the rock or swimming in the water and his feathers ruffle when he hears trouble. The eagles hang around waiting for the nest to be exposed but I've watched them being chased way by 2 angry geese. The only one of the kids who would walk there was Fiona, who is a bit of a wild one herself! Here "catching" frogs.

Rain this afternoon; cookies were made, ipads were played with (giving Grampa and I a short horizontal break) and many projects were undertaken in the studio with checking every 20 minues or so for the rain to stop. Hark, it cleared enough for some kid boat motoring in the COLD!

If only the four of them would talk one at a time instead of all at once!
