Bluebell Day
Spent most of today chasing bluebells.
Many of the woods around Perth have an amazing carpet of bluebells on show at the moment. So to beat the forecast showers we headed off this morning up to one we knew near Ballathie. Quite an amazing place, with no-one else around. The sounds of the woodland really matched the beauty of the place.
After a light lunch we went to Rossie House, which had it's annual open garden day. Again bluebells were everywhere, amongst the wonderful gardens. A few showers rolled in but we managed to shelter in the summer room with tea, sandwiches and cakes till the largest one past.
My shot of the day is Breagha sitting pretty in the woods. She was a bit frustrated today as she's got an infected cut on one of her paws and is under vet's instructions to only be walked on the lead. Torture for a spaniel in the woods!
