Letheringsett Water Mill
B and I walked to Letheringsett this morning and called in at the lovely working Victorian watermill. This now has a tearoom and the tables outside are next to the mill stream, it was delightful to sit in the sunshine and hear the rumbling of the mill and the sound of the water. So, while enjoying coffee and home-made cake we watched a pair of grey wagtails collecting insects. I'm sure B www.blipfoto.com/bom will share her photos of the birds when she posts her blip entry as B had her long camera lens with her.
It was a glorious sunny day and the temperatures soon climbed. In addition to the grey wagtails we also saw a whitethroat and a yellowhammer along our route.
My extra is of some pretty laburnum contrasting against the blue sky.
