The Shoot

Spotted this, (along with a million other things to shoot) in the woods this morning. I liked how the shoot was emerging from a knot on the tree.
We had a slower than usual walk around the woods this morning because I’m feeling a bit sore and bruised today after a fall while walking Geordie last night. We were walking on concrete at the time so I’ve skimmed my knuckles and knees, hurt my thumb and wrist, and just ache all over.
I think I will enjoy a quiet lazy weekend to recuperate.
