Remember

Met The King  (TK) and my daughter at the Poppy and Pint for tea last night; a long awaited first visit for me. 

Owned by Castle Rock Brewery (CRB) but run as a free house and community pub, well matched to the eco-friendly and boho area Ladybay. A former Royal British Legion building, many military artefacts on display; also local produce on sale (cash only) and artworks.
 
Advertising 12 keg and 12 cask ales, plus ciders et al, an outstanding choice. At least two stouts on offer; I enjoyed a pint of Oatmeal stout.

Very family friendly, my grandson ran around stroking the many dogs inside and out, who were very accommodating.

A hostelry to remember (as well as those who fight for our freedom).
