Didn't even notice him

..I was by the canal taking pictures of young geese..and meanwhile could hear the sound of what looked like a young water bird ...so I stepped to the edge of the water to see what it was and saw to my surprise a kingfisher and luckily he stayed long enough to get a picture of him.. the extra I took at the end of my walk when I saw him flying in to the reeds..
