We got to Florida

3 am alarm - 4:10 am taxi to the airport - 6:15 am flight to Amsterdam!

It was all very smooth and in Amsterdam we had even time to jump into the lounge and have a coffee and some breakfast before we went on the long-haul Delta flight to Atlanta.

Delta had messed our seats up but we managed in the end to sit next to each other in 2 aisle seats.
Delta will defo not become my fav airline - the staff is a bit rude and the food is a bit crappy.

In Atlanta we had to do immigration and had to collect our cases and check them in again for the last leg.
It was so smooth and Atlanta airport was soooooo quiet - never expected that.
Our last flight was again smooth but we sat apart from each other.
I had a chat with a West Palm Beacher and left the plane with a lot more knowledge about the town.

In West Palm Beach we got our cases and grabbed an Uber to get to our cottage.
It was 6 pm local.
We gained 5 hours on our journey.

The house is fabulous!!
We unpacked and wandered into down town as we fancied a beer and some light food.
We found a life music place, had a beer each. I fancied Nachos and the portion was huge ...... I ate loads and they were sooo good!!

Just after 9 pm we started feeling very tired and walked home and fell dead into bed just after 10 pm ...

Very excited about the next 10 days in sunny Florida!!
