A lovely day in London with Lisa.

Bucks fizz and a croissant on the train, L had a sausage cob with her fizz.

A wander around Covent Garden, discovered the Miller Harris perfume shop and Scherzo perfume. Sat outside in a little bar watching the world go by, the sunshine was glorious.

Then onto Notting Hill and Portobello Road. We saw some of the lovely pastel coloured houses, lunch at Gold, we both had a pomegranate basil fizz with our lunch, I had a fennel salad and L had mushrooms on toast. Portobello Market was very busy. A cafe stop before catching the underground to Bond Street.

Finally, afternoon tea at Claridges, an early celebration of L’s birthday. A selection of sandwiches, champagne, scones with cream and jam and a few cups of tea. We had to bring our cakes home with us as we couldn’t manage to eat anymore.

A look in Zara before catching the underground to St Pancras, a quick stop in Searcy’s Champagne Bar, an orange juice for me and a champagne for L.

We caught the 20:32 home, a wonderful day, I’ll definitely sleep tonight.
