THE BIRTHDAY..

…continues.
We decided to purchase the combination tourist ticket €45 and just hope it was worth it…we’ll after 3 hours worth of bus tours and an hours boat trip down the River Tagus…I think we got our moneys worth and we still have another 2 days to use it!!!!

A great tour on the purple route gave us an idea of the layout of Lisbon. Then it was definitely time for a beer stop. We walked down the main restaurant area to catch the boat…great timing too.
# a lovely cooling boat trip down to Belem…sadly we got a little disoriented on how to get into this part of Lisbon so hopped on next bus back for lunch. Lovely fish restaurant…delicious food.
Once we found John after his search for a supermarket and then getting lost in Lisbon we headed back to the bus.
#back on the bus for the next part of the blue route….after a little controversy about mask wearing…and bit of agro from the bus driver!!!!! All sorted in the end with a handshake!
Once off the bus Sue was still demanding ice cream so that was our final destination before heading back to our apartment for supper of our various Portuguese specialties and a film.
