Having fun

Today we had a gathering for Sunday school families in the afternoon. Baked potatoes and various fillings. Games for the children and a chance for the adults to chat and catch up.

Hard to believe it is over 2 years since we managed such an event. It felt natural and enjoyable.

Evening spent watching Eurovision. I was ready with the camera just after midnight if the impossible happened but 2nd place is an amazing result for the UK after all these years. Not done the maths but just about every country must have placed - in the public vote - Ukraine at the top. Political and cultural allegiances always play a part in voting but the clear message from the public across Europe is of support for Ukraine.
