I am flying to Geneve tomorrow morning to attend a conference in a village called Villars-sur-Ollon in Switzerland.
It is going to be not only the first flight but also the first escape from Scotland since the COVID lockdown ..!!!
The conference ends on 20th Friday following which I am going to Grenoble in France to visit a friend of mine whom I was close when he was in Edinburgh.
Plus, another friend of mine is coming to Grenoble from Paris to see me.
I met him when he was visiting Hokkaido University as a visiting PhD student 6 years ago. It is going to be the first reunion since then!
