Walked along coastal path from Hartlepool passing through Seaton Carew - espying the home of John Darwin - recent inspiration for television drama - The Thief His Wife and The Canoe - his house second from right in extra

Later visited National Museum of The Royal Navy Hartlepool - which features recreation of 18th Century Seaport including street scenes - and recently restored HMS Trincomalee - Europe’s oldest floating warship built in 1817 - just about to cross street from accommodation to partake of refreshments with M&C
