Driftwood

I photographed this piece of driftwood a couple of weeks ago but I wasn't happy with the pictures.  The previous attempt was difficult because there was bright sunshine which created black shadows and/or burnt out highlights, today was bright but much more cloudy.  I used my tripod for a change as well so I am still assessing the results.
