And like that, summer is here

Spring is turning very quickly into high summer, and as a consequence, Ottawans have determined it is "shorts weather". In fairness, some of them determined this in March when the thermometer crept above zero for the first time. 

Not me though, not yet. I make sure I pick Ottawacker Jr. up from school every afternoon in a protective pair of long trousers. Until I have the chance to get a little bit of colour on them, at least.
