Horse chestnut tree candelabra

Mr hazelh and I attempted to reach the Rocheid Path by crossing the Warriston playing fields. We soon discovered that that is only one way in and out of the fields, so we failed in our mission. However, the silver lining of this expedition was to see this magnificent horse chestnut tree and its huge array of candles.

This was our first mission of the day: a visit to Little Dobbies in Stockbridge. in the end we didn't buy anything there. However on our second mission - to the plant sale at Warriston allotments - I did pick up a couple of items for our garden.

The rest of the day I have gardened.

Exercise today: walking (15,835 steps) and gardening.
