Everything is Awesome

My first pre-work sea swim of the season. Temperatures have plummeted but a lap was totally doable.
Off to the train station in Glounthaune then to meet 26 super-excited kids for their first ever school tour. Covid restrictions for their first two years in school meant they couldn’t go anywhere.
The excitement was contagious, a few passengers on the 3 minute train journey even commented. Plenty of nostalgia for P, but a great tour. The kids were amazing.
Sitting in the sun with a cider at the Dock Bar helped alleviate the pain of Friday traffic. Home for mackerel on the BBQ then. A great day.
