From the day we purchased our condo in Oceanside we had planned to replace the kitchen faucet. When we were here in March we bought a new faucet but didn't have the time to install. I don't know what I was thinking, but I picked Friday the thirteenth as the day to change things out. As you can see here, the old set was extremely rusted and it took an inordinate amount of time, effort, and money (not to mention three trips to the, fortunately, nearby Home Depot) to accomplish the task. I should show the finished installation, but this photo of the old faucet gives a better indication of why a simple job turned into a five hour ordeal.
