Maidencombe Dawn

I didn't set an alarm but when I looked at the clock it said 5.23, perfect. I grabbed some clothes and left Lady Marian slumbering. 30 minutes later I had parked by the Thatched Inn and taken the walk down to Maidencombe Beach just a few minutes before the sun was due to burst over the horizon. It didn't and I thought the morning might be a disappointment but gradually as the sun got higher it fought its way through the clouds and lit them up in some lovely colours. It was hard to choose but there's a selection here if you'd have chosen differently.

It's a lovely day here and set to be good tomorrow, I think. I hope it's looking good for you too.
