Stormy Night

We had some thunderstorms sweep through in the middle of the night. Also lots of rain and wind yay! :)

Jake really doesn't like thunder and he decided he had better get into bed with me in case the thunder managed to get him. Little bursts of low growling kept me awake for a while.

When we got up the rain had all gone so we went on our usual walk. I had noticed a couple of days ago that this beautiful flowering gum was just beginning to open its blossoms but unfortunately the wind has knocked them all down.

This has always been a very popular tree for the birds, I think they will be really disappointed this year!
