Glorious walk

Today would have been my mum's 90th birthday so Adam suggested I get 9000 steps in to 'celebrate'. So took him up on his suggestion and we had a lovely 4 miler in  Hempsted Forest. (Got over the 9000 steps so felt very virtuous) 
Did a bit of painting in the afternoon - which was fun to do but I'm not anywhere near satisfied with it so have put it to one side. 
And in the early evening we went to The Bull and meet Jennie and Adam, to drink gin in honour of the woman who made me and, by default, Jennie. Had a lovely evening, made even better with Adam getting an early promotion.
