rubber fetish writ large

there are piles and piles of this stuff dumped in a vacant lot. And I'm fussing around with a few shopping bags full of plastic wrappers for recycling. Truth be told if I added up a year's worth of contents of our cafe dumpster bin, there'd be piles and piles of stuff there as well, and I don't believe it all gets sorted/recycled like the waste removal company claims.
