Last big job of the year (I hope)
Top corner of the garden has always been a bit wild, a spot for dumping rubbish and to ignore.
Then we bought this seat and suddenly this corner was an integral part of the garden and it looked a mess. So lots of clearing up needed (done tick) weed killing (done tick) lumps flattened and dips filled (done tick) but now the final stage, laying the weed suppressing fabric (almost done) and spreading the slate mulch (not done, due Wednesday) Laying the fabric involved crawling under bushes and cutting round plants and the legs of the seat. Difficult enough even without this afternoons rain.
Knees and back ache but have achieved a lot.
