And away!

A pleasant journey down.. if you ignore the stop at Trentham Garden and shopping centre which was BUSY. Note to selves to go a different route next time. It used to be a pleasant stop but 10 years on this place has grown. At least we got our pee break and a bit of a leg stretch. 

We arrived at the hotel only 3 minutes beyond the original Sat Nav prediction. 
Nice and sun y so we had a good long walk through the large grounds and Fletch perked up to do lots of rolly pollies.

It's of cowslips and a few wild orchids. It was pleasantly  warm and we could easily have stayed longer. .. but another 3 hours of driving beckoned
