The latest episode of Scotland's summer lasted just two days, as I had a sodden dog walk first thing. Back home, there were a lot of very basic questions on my course that came from a student who I thought had dropped out. I very nearly suggested that it was a waste of her time and mine in posting and answering them. Fortunately, having issued the case study marks last night, there wasn't a single query.

I soon got stuck into coding, and the students started their exam. I had a couple of email queries that I ignored, since there was no error in the paper, and that was it. I now have 105 scripts to mark, but it's a couple of weeks before I hit any deadlines!
