Acro gymnastics champions

On most Mondays we take our twin grandchildren from school to their gymnastics class at Spelthorne Gymnastics in Sunbury.
It is a well regarded gymnastics club with classes from pre school up to seniors. They do very well in both U.K. and international competitions. Particularly in acro and tumbling.
Recently the mens teams have become World Champions in Baku , Azerbaijan. Today there were three young men in GBR kit who had just returned from winning another event in Portugal.

On the few occasions we have been allowed in to see the training we have been so impressed. Many of the routines are done by three or four gymnasts working together.  But…the older gymnasts do have to do long hours of training on at least three days a week. A big commitment for them and their parents!
