Silo

Openhouse Basel is a great event allowing all architecture lovers and photographers to visit some amazing buildings in the city. In the picture you can see an former grain warehouse changed into a restaurant, workspace and a boutique hostel. The characteristic silo chambers have been preserved and as well as its industrial look. I have to admit that the architects did great job here giving the building a new life while keeping some of the original features.
