St John's
A bit of an overcast day but still warm, a neighbour friend in for an hour and chat over coffee, whilst we watched the rain on the rear deck.
It did clear up early afternoon so I went for a drive to Kings Caple, on the outskirts of Ross on Wye (Herefordshire). Opposite it's Norman Tump (1066AD) is 13th century St John the Baptist Church. It was open and I enjoyed a walk around where there were some tombs in the side chancel dating to the mid 1600's.
Late this afternoon we collected granddaughter Amelia from pre-school and on getting home she wanted to do a walk around our village. Nice that's she's now chilled out watching tv!
