Sweet Peas

My very first sweet peas here, can't tell you how thrilled I am. Never managed them in Brazil. Think I've planted too many of them too close together; today Mike tied them up a bit with string. They were our wedding flowers; love the colours, love the scent, the shapes, the curly bits, the way they keep on giving, that you have to cut them to keep them going, so you don't feel guilty doing it.

Gratefuls:
- the family rallying round to help Ju and Tom move
- rediscovering the paving stones I laid over a year ago, which had almost disappeared in the grass, plus pruning roses, digging a channel for the irrigation pipe to the lemon tree, and so on
- Mike getting the irrigation going up at the top, and putting up the first bit of shade cloth (needs a new electric screwdriver)
