Sounds of Spring in Glasgow
The first day of spring-like weather this year - warm sunshine and a balmy breeze! These two young buskers near the top of Buchanan Street were filling the air with the unmistakable sound of the pipes. I think they are wearing the Gordon tartan - one of the clans from the north east of Scotland. Anyway, they seemed to be gathering in a fair reward for their efforts. Perhaps because everyone appeared in a distinctly better mood today as we emerged from the ice, snow, winds and downpours of recent months!
I waited until there were no people too close to them so they stood out in the composition, but you can see plenty of Glaswegians advancing down the street.
