Bend in the River Vagastie

The high highlands - almost tundra a little higher up. A 95 mile day with almost no stopping - except to take photos now and again of the spectacular scenery - before the rain closed in, and the wind blew strong from the east - head first for the last 45 miles along the northern coast of Scotland, up and down over the headlands like a roller coaster - peddling almost as hard downhill, into the wind, as uphill. A long hard cycle - but only 20 miles now to John O Groats.
