Colourful flowers

Took one of my autistic pupils out for a walk this morning as they were unsettled and anxious and sometimes we find that being outside makes these young people more able to open up and talk through their worries. I guess it's the safety of knowing that you aren't sitting trapped in a room with someone with the expectation of a conversation taking place. It can feel more natural being outside, walking and talking and of course you don't have to fret about eye contact either as you're side by side. Anyway I didn't have many opportunities to take any photos on our walk as the conversation did begin and they kept pouring out their thoughts. Managed a quick snap of these flowers as we headed back to school.
