Watergate Bay - Wow !

We visited Fifteen at Watergate Bay for lunch today. It was fabulous !
Afterwards we walked along the beach in the hot sun - why go anywhere else in the world when there are places like this on your doorstep ?

At the waterline where the sea washes in there is a line of plastic of all colours & descriptions. Some of it has been rounded by the action of the sea some of it is new,but quite an amazing sight - my original picture was of the multi coloured plastic & the question - Why do we throw so much rubbish into our oceans ?

I looked back at theoriginal blip & thought that it didn't really do the day justice like this one does...wow !
