Inside a Tulip.
Had another play with 'nearly extreme macro' today, Inside a tulip. My biggest problem was stability whilst taking the shots. I took a shot, moved the focus rail and waited 5 seconds before taking the next.

This is 27 shots at  f/5.6 focused stacked in Helicon Focus. This is a magnification of 1.9:1 and the effective aperture is about f/16.8 (ref info from two sources Don Komarechka and Martin Bailey)
