Linlithgow Loch
Did you know Linlithgow Loch was formed from a chunk of ice from glacial debris that melted and that the name Linlithgow comes from llyn - llaith - cau meaning ‘Loch in the damp hollow’?
I always enjoy taking a walk around the Loch and today was no exception for my lunchtime wander to clear my head. I've noticed, though, that I always seem to walk around it in a clockwise direction? Isn't it funny how if I were to do it the other way round, it would just feel wrong?
Do you find yourself doing this on routes you have done many times before?
