Scorchio!

Ooh it's been a little hot here in Essex today! And knowing it was going to be warm I headed out a bit earlier this morning for a little local walk over the Downs and was very grateful I did, and thankful for all the trees over there too!  Had great fun discovering a few new paths and areas to explore for the future, along with getting slightly lost on the way back! I'd never make for a good explorer!!

Bit quiet on the butterfly front although I did see my second painted lady in two days, but they weren't willing to pose! This speckled wood was by the cow parsley!  So much of it around this year! It seems extra frothy everywhere!!

Plant watering is now on my agenda for the evening.... rain, where are you when I need you??!!
