Big Day for Jet

Jet was booked in to the Vets to have a growth on his tongue removed. As an old dog it was a risk but it was clearly causing him problems. He found it hard to comprehend this morning that no breakfast was available or even a treat at the newsagents.

It was a relief to find all had gone well and we could pick him up this afternoon. Good job friends Martyn and Sue were on hand to distract us. We had a good walk round Duncombe Park having fortified ourselves with coffee and scones in Helmsley.

Surprised at how well Jet has bounced back this evening. However he was not impressed by being caught on camera. We still have to wait the results from the lump which was removed but his tongue looks a lot better.
