Insulation void

Nick and Owen are prepping the west wall for meshing. Removing a piece of bituboard that has been gnawed by mice, they find an absence of Warmcel. Some of that can be blamed on the mice, but there are also diagonal timbers that have stopped it being blown into some sections.

Anyway, another patchy day. Blood tests in the morning (routine), then order a new pair of specs, return an Amazon package, shop at Lidl, all before starting work.

According to Amazon they deliver another package at lunchtime “left with resident”. Nowhere to be seen. No one has even seen an Amazon driver today.

I ask at Castlecraig reception. They don’t have the package, but tell me that the regular driver has quit and today’s deliveries are being done by a manager. So my package could be anywhere.

NCDT centre meeting tonight to try and work out where all the funds are coming/going from/to. It’ll take time to get our heads around the existing business. Just as well there’s last night’s curry and another exploding Welsh beer waiting for me at home.
