I finally got to see a rocket launch.  Every time we thought the date was fixed, they would move it again.  It was mostly cloudy and so the rocket disappeared pretty quickly and then came out a few times through the holes as it arced across the sky.  Even though we were several miles away, the most amazing things was the noise the rocket engine made, which you could feel against your body.
