Star of Bethlehem

When I got back yesterday the Green was looking beautiful in the sun with buttercups blooming away and then I spotted a white flower which at a distance I thought was a daisy but, when I went over to inspect it, I found a lovely little patch of Star of Bethlehem.
Today the whole area was mown to within an inch of its life which seems to happen on a rather regular basis sadly. I should have blipped it when I saw it but didn’t realise it’s life was going to be cut short quite so soon. So, it’s a rainbow instead. The showers came racing through this evening and it was a constant drama of light and dark.
