Pretty wide huh!
Tasman Bay New Zealand, discovered by Able Tasman in 1635 but not named then it also was visited by Captain Cook who claimed NZ for King George IV in 1769 which is what they did in those days.
Tasman bay is 45 miles wide (76 kms) x 35 miles deep (56 kms) giving an area of 2,272 square miles (4,256 square kms) so quite a large bay with plenty of fish for the "The Forrester".
The sun came out as can be seen from the Blip after a dull start and I managed to walk K with difficulty this morning but this afternoons was was good progress.
It's motorcycle Wednesday but not for me this week as I would have struggled and put myself back a couple of days.
I have been getting jobs organised prior to leaving for a holiday and that has gone well.
