Hare today ..

A bit of a disappointing day really ... this morning I did various boring householdy things then after lunch decided to go to Spurn. The road was breached (yet again) in the winter storms and they've decided not to mend it this time, so the road is no longer usable by motor vehicles - but it's such a long way to the point I thought I'd sling my bike in the van and use that - genius!

However - not only am I as unfit as an unfit thing, the road was also so covered with blown sand it was very, very hard to cycle on. And then I discovered I'd somehow seriously scratched the LCD screen of my Canon :(

I decided I better not go to the meal I was invited to this evening - I've had a gippy tum for a few days and it really didn't seem like a good idea .. but I'm sitting here feeling rather sorry for myself - it would have been my second social event in 17 months ..
