Having thought I was on the mend yesterday, I was completely wrong and found myself in the grip of Covid, feeling like I had been hit by a truck with aches and pains all over my body.
 
I’ve not been much of a father today, and for once have been grateful of the various screens around the house to distract us all.
 
The one silver lining was a victory for Matty’s beaver group in a local competition – her group came first and won some really nice prizes including a medal, a lovely tin mug and a head torch, which she dazzled us all intermittently with throughout the afternoon.
 
Bedtime didn’t come soon enough today.
