But it's Friday evening, the blues are on the radio, there's curry on the stove, all are safe, well and happy.

Tried not to be too distracted by all that was happening in Boston this morning. Difficult emotional mix of feeling for everyone there, hoping all are safe and needing to be very practical about what it meant for work commitments.

With an early finish from work the rest of the afternoon has been joyously homely and mundane and is blending very nicely into Friday evening.

And with a glass in my hand, I wish everyone a peaceful weekend.
