Hawthorn Blossom

When our new town was created out of what had been farmland for centuries, with a small village in its midst,  the development corporation wisely kept as much of the field bordering hedgerows and trees as was possible.

Outside our house on the pathway between houses there is a hedge of hawthorn, and at this time of year it is beautiful with its blossom.  Hawthorn has some of the nicest blossom of all, I think.

The HG is off on a recce for the club today.  I have been busy, and walked to the town centre, doing some banking, blethering with friends, and walking back.  Fairly built up the steps though.

It is a very nice day with a bit of wind but lots of sunshine, and I have enjoyed being out and about.  I hope it has been the same for the HG.
