Things you don't expect to see in Swindon.

I did the usual food shopping and mundane household tasks today- as well as a little trip out to find something interesting to photograph. I nearly photographed a heron- but it flew away. I nearly photographed a duck- but it swam away. I gave up on wildlife.

I did photograph the roof of a Chinese restaurant, however. It used to be called the Pagoda Palace, but is now called Hongxin. When it was built- it was the biggest Chinese restaurant in England. It is now an all you can eat buffet ( can't recommend it as I haven't eaten here). It is built in a "traditional" Chinese temple style- quite bizarre as it's in the middle of a housing estate!
