Echium

Went for a walk & went round to see if the Echium were in bloom & yes they were.
I've walked round to this area before & seen some beautiful flowers including the Echium before they flower.
Makes me sad to think the one I grew last year could be in flower now if it hadn't been trodden on it.
The lady whose garden these belong to stopped to chat & said that she would dig an Echium up for me next Spring.
Earlier I took Joan to Dunelm so she could buy a few things, while there we popped into the Cafe for a cuppa & cake. Yum!
